To his contemporaries and biographers however, he was also known as a poet who composed a large Dīwān. This Dīwān got lost, though some of his poems have survived in the biographical literature. They were collected and edited in two modern editions. Among the preserved poems, there are several lampoons against the philosophers, preferably against Averroes. The article presents these poems and tries to situate them within the religious concepts of their author.}, url = {https://doi.org/10.13173/zeitdeutmorggese.165.1.0093} doi = {10.13173/zeitdeutmorggese.165.1.0093} }
