The present article discusses some grammatical issues in the
the first section deals with general issues of the transcription of Syriac highlighting some of the changes made by Lattke (1999–2005) in his third commentary volume. The second
section provides some comments on several points of grammar and suggests different translations of individual passages. A short anthology of notable verses in the
